What Is POMO?
- POMO is a rebellion against STRUCTURALISM.
- STRUCTURALISM is MODERNISM's tendency to sort all human activity into huge, simple pigeon holes called METANARRATIVES .
- A POMO is also a person who advocates POSTMODERNISM.
- A POMO wants to DECONSTRUCT a metanarrative, i.e. to explain the subject matter in a more true-to-life way.
- The contents of a metanarrative is referred to as a TEXT.
Why is POMO not listed in as an epistemology, ontology, etc?
- POMO has too broad a sweep to be pigeonholed in this way.
